(New York, NY – December 1, 2009) News Talk Radio 710, WOR announced today that December 11 will be “Red Kettle Day” on the station. WOR will use its airwaves and website to raise funds and awareness for the Salvation Army Greater New York Division. The day’s highlight will be a live broadcast of The John Gambling Show from Michael Jordan’s The Steakhouse N.Y.C., located on the North and West balconies of Grand Central Terminal in New York City. That day’s special extended broadcast will take place from 5:30 until 10:00am, and feature New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg among its special guests.
